Day 3 Surprise, Surprise!!

Well it's definite now, they are writing Lisa's discharge papers, I have the hotel confirmed for another night, we're just waiting on the pharmacy, and the exit briefing. I hope I can remember all the stuff I thought of posting about this morning before all that got knocked out by hearing of a possible discharge, when I got here this morning. After talking with the resident, and extensively with the RN, I feel a bit more comfortable, it's still a bit scary though.

Onward...

  1. WOW, I am sure it is scary but it sounds like she is doing well. And you are close by the hospital if anything happens. Try not to get to stressed, I know I would be nervous. Good luck to you and Lisa today. I am sending some positive vibes your way.

  3. Wow, yes, I'm amazed too. Well, Kevin, have you been lonely for the dogs? It won't be long now..... You won't be close by the hospital - do you have to drive back for radiation treatments? If so, how often? I wish you WERE close to the hospital, so you wouldn't have to go from home to Boston so soon. I'm sure Lisa will be glad to go home. Good luck. Mom

  4. Yippee!!!!
I guarantee I'd be scared to, but she's healing really well if they're letting her go so quickly. It'll be good to get away from all the hospital germs.
Sending mental and emotional strength your way, for both of you.

  6. Wait - when you say discharge - does that mean you will stay in Boston or come home? Perhaps I got too excited too fast.

  7. Horrayyy!

I know that you're tickled to death. Now you can be a nurse and bring your lady back to full health. Y'all take it easy and get some good rest. Hope the next few days go well for you.
